Durango Chefs to Compete for "Iron Horse Chef" Title 
Saturday, September 11                    9:00 am - 11:30 am Durango Farmers Market in the First National Bank of Durango parking lot       
Local chefs will have 90 minutes to shop and prepare dishes from  the Durango Farmers' Market for competition ingredients
The first event was between Chris Crowl of Cosmo’s and Vera Hansen of Cyprus Café took place on Saturday, August 28. The winner of that event Vera Hansen will meet the defending champion, Ryan Lowe of the Ore House, in the final showdown on Saturday, September 11. The winner will take home the coveted traveling trophy – a personalized Durango Iron Horse Chef Competition Jacket.
Chefs will be judged on presentation, taste, creativity and innovation in using local ingredients
